Cinnamon Heart cocktail

IMG_0469

1 oz vodka
3/4 oz Goldschläger (can substitute other cinnamon schnapps but I like the gold flecks)
1/4 oz raspberry syrup
Splash of Peychauds bitters

Shake well over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Note: Goldschläger will NOT make your skin fall off. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Christmas Sweetie

We are having a very laid back holiday this year. We’re not doing the big bird meal, and it’s just the two of us, so we didn’t need to spend all day in the kitchen. I thought a very simple treat cocktail would be nice, but my sweetie is not a big fan of sweet drinks and I was not sure he would care for this. However, he is a big raspberry fan, and he asked for a second one, so it must be good! Merry Christmas!

2 oz vodka
1/4 oz raspberry syrup
1/4 oz white creme de cacao

My Pink Half of the Drainpipe v1

My second attempt at a Bonzo Dog Band inspired cocktail and my first at doing one for this, one of my very favourite Bonzo songs! This is a small layered shooter and quantities of the ingredients will vary based on the size of shooter glass.

Pour blue curaçao into the bottom of the glass. Shake together roughly equal parts cold whipping cream and raspberry syrup in a shaker, then carefully strain over the curaçao (pour down the back of a bar spoon if you have one that fits in your small shooter glass). Drink as a shot (do not sip).
