There is a thing going around Facebook that the word Easter derives from the name Ishtar, the Babylonian goddess of fertility, and that her symbol was a rabbit, and that this is why we hunt for eggs. Now this is all nonsense, but it does make for a good cocktail name!
1 1/2 oz vodka 1 oz sour cherry juice 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc 1/2 oz finely strained lemon juice 1/2 oz Cointreau
I’m not able to make a new cocktail today, so I am dipping into the vault of older original recipes not yet posted. I apologize for the crappy photo; this was created long before I had the idea of putting recipes onto a blog. This one is tasty despite the rather Kool-Aid look.
1/2 oz vanilla vodka
1/2 oz regular vodka
1/2 oz Amarena sour cherry syrup
1/2 oz kirschwasser
1/2 oz white creme de cacao
